BACKGROUND

After the interviews which comprise the first exercise within this project, our attention will turn to collecting visual images of the different places from where you participate in the E-Learning course. In particular, we want to find out about the places from where you engage with your learner community, as well as the significance of these different locations.
To do this, for a dedicated period of time in November, we'll be inviting you to take a snapshot of all the different places where you engage with other students or staff on the E-Learning course (whether those places happen to be regular haunts or haphazard places where you manage to find a few minutes to log on). To do this we'd like you to send us a 'postcard' using the form and drop box below. Our plan is to add all the snapshots to the gallery and then, a little further down the line, to an exciting interactive map. You only need to send an image once for each location (so you don't need to snap your desk every time you contribute to the course discussion board, assuming that's one of your regular study spaces). So whether you're Tweeting on the train, contributing to a wiki from your workplace or attending a class in Second Life from the comfort of your own sofa, we want to hear - and see - what it's like. |
